The Big Catch

The Big Catch

MMAM presents The Big Catch, a survey of art across time and cultures that explores our relationship with the world that lives below the surface, and our desire to understand it.

Featuring a range of works from museum masterpieces to folk art to contemporary artists of our time, this exhibition has something for everyone who has ever wondered what lies beneath, has been lured by the catch, and is struck by the wonderment of our underwater world.

Included Exhibitions:

Art for Fish/Art for Humans | Kristian Brevik

From Sea to Paper: The Gyotaku Prints of Dwight Hwang

Moby-Dick | Kimble A. Bromley
