Isabel Betsill

Isabel Betsill is a Minneapolis-based artist, art educator, and art writer. She received a BA in studio art with a concentration in sculpture from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon in 2020 and wrote her thesis, "Socio-Political Criticism in Contemporary Indonesian Art" while studying abroad in Indonesia. She is passionate about the way art can be used to heal communities and foster necessary conversations. In her own art practice, she is a contemporary acrylic painter whose work captures girlhood through a queer and nostalgic lens. Website
