Zero Empty Spaces Downtown Minneapolis Artist Studio Preview

Zero Empty Spaces is launching a new working artist studio location in Downtown Minneapolis and is inviting local visual artists to preview the space before it opens publicly.

Zero Empty Spaces transforms vacant commercial storefronts into affordable, professional artist studios that support creative momentum and community visibility. With 33 locations activated across four states and more than 800 artists welcomed into the program, the initiative provides stable, month-to-month studio space in high-visibility environments.

Studios at the Nicollet Mall location are available at $4 per square foot, inclusive of utilities, on a flexible month-to-month basis. The average 96 square foot studio is approximately $384 per month.

During the preview, artists will tour the space, learn how the Zero Empty Spaces model works, review studio sizes and pricing, and hear details about the move-in timeline. The session will include an overview presentation, open Q and A, and time to connect with fellow artists.

This event is designed for visual artists seeking an affordable and professional studio environment outside the home, as well as creatives interested in joining a collaborative working community with increased visibility through open studios and public engagement.
