SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY 2025 is pleased to present 'We Belong Together,' a group exhibition of over 60 visual artists sharing their personal take on what unites and bonds us together as humanity.
The exhibition 'We Belong Together' explores the profound connections that bind us all—across cultures, generations, backgrounds, and experiences. It features the works and perspectives of more than 60 artists, transcending differences and celebrating the unifying threads of humanity. The exhibition challenges viewers to reflect on what belonging and togetherness means to them personally, and thereby contribute to a shared vision of unity
The exhibition comes in two formats: a traditional, gallery-style exhibition, held indoors at ArT @ 967 Payne; and a street-side display of artworks in the storefront windows and indoor spaces of about 20 local businesses, creating a walkable "Street Gallery" experience spanning about five city blocks.
About Solidarity Street Gallery:
SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY, in its fifth year in 2025, is a one-of-a-kind fine-art exhibition and cultural celebration on the East Side of St. Paul. It invites visual artists to bring their work to one of the most diverse neighborhoods of St. Paul - and engage local residents and visitors from the Greater Twin Cities Area in cultural exchanges and conversations on topics important to the community.
For three days, on October 10 + 11 + 12, the historical Payne Avenue commercial district transforms into a lively cultural corridor, filled not only with fine art exhibitions and artist presentations, but also spoken word readings, live music performances, a collaborative community art project, and an open house at a local charter high school. . Local businesses and restaurants, many BIPOC owned, play a central role in the celebration as they feature fine art exhibits in their storefronts, and set up tables on their sidewalks to offer event specials.
Solidarity Street Gallery 2025 is produced in collaboration with ArT @ 967 Payne and the East Side Arts Council (which serves as the fiscal sponsor). Major funding is provided through a grant from the East Side Funders Group, complemented with sponsorships by several local businesses and private donors.
The dates of SOLIDARITY STREET GALLERY 2025 coincide with those of the Fall 2025 Saint Paul Art Crawl.
