The Internal Affairs of Mr. Invincible | Lou Ferreri

This exhibition features mixed media drawings produced over an 11-year commitment to the series The Internal Affairs of Mr. Invincible. Using newspaper editorial pages as drawing grounds, these artworks underscore the idea that below the surface of our lives “breaking news” resides as perpetual background noise. Ferreri says, “as an artist working in perilous times, my work juxtaposes drawn imagery with contemporary news headlines.”
