Each talk will be unique, covering different works on view. Pre-registration is required.

Swedish Dads is a photographs series with portraits of 45 dads who belong to the relatively small percentage of Swedish men who, with Sweden's generous parental leave policies, choose to stay at home with their children for six months or longer. Through this series, Swedish photographer Johan Bävman examines why these fathers opted to stay at home and how the relationships with their children and their partners changed as a result. Swedish Dads aims to inspire and create role models for other dads, and to contribute to ongoing discussion around gender equality and parenting.

The U.S. début and tour of Swedish Dads is supported by Embassy of Sweden.

Editors Note:
ASI and Fika will be reopening to members September 10th and the general public September 11th. Also on display in the Osher gallery will be We Are The Story quilt exhibition.
