Schmidt Fall Art Crawl 2023

Join the 2023 St. Paul Fall Art Crawl at the Schmidt Artist Lofts on West 7th. The Schmidt Fall Art Crawl, in coordination with the St. Paul Art Collective and the West 7th Arts District, will take place October 6-8, in the historic Schmidt Brewery turned Artist living and work space. More than 80 local artists and artisans will exhibit and sell their work. Ranging from paintings, ceramics, illustrations, jewelry, photography, block prints, glass art, digital work, fiber arts, clothing, and more on several floors, in gallery spaces and in work spaces. 

Hours are Friday 6-9 pm . Saturday 12-7 pm . Sunday 12-5 pm. 

Attendance is FREE and parking is FREE on nearby streets. Enter at Door #1 on the North side of the building, by the huge smokestack. See you at the crawl! 

• More than 80 local artists and artisans will exhibit, demo, and sell their paintings, ceramics, illustrations, jewelry, photography, block prints, glass art, digital work, healing arts, fiber arts, and more throughout the Brewhouse - from the Tunnel Gallery up to the Rooftop. (Yes, more than 80!)
• The Landmark Gallery features a diverse collection of paintings from Suyao Tian and Schmidt residents Suk Jo Lee and DC Ice.
• Join us on the Rooftop for Open Palette. One artist every hour will entertain a live audience as they create a finished work before your eyes. MaryBeth Garrigan is the emcee. 
• Get Personal with artists in the Paint Studio, Clay Studios, and 3 residential units on the 1st floor. 
• Get Moving with Viennese Waltz classes and tai chi in the Dance Studio.
• Food & Beverage - Stay fueled for hours of art shopping with Buna Coffee in our lobby and food trucks outside Brewhouse Door 1: Egg Roll Queen, El Burrito Mercado, and Red Rocket Pizza. 
• Phil’s Well House is open Saturday with free water and a unique mini-gallery. ROK offers drink specials all weekend and an amazing after-hours music experience. Find more art and refreshment options at Keg & Case Market and other establishments along West 7th Street and Randolph Ave.
• Explore more of the West 7th Arts District: Friedli Art Gallery, Great River Gallery, and DUAL are must-see stops on your Art Crawl list.

Open Palette 

A live painting event in the same format as an open mic but for visual artists. One artist every hour will entertain a live audience as they create a finished work before your eyes. There are still some open time slots available. If you would like to participate, please sign up at the Link here.
 

Saint Paul Art Collective
Schmidt Fall Art Crawl is organized in coordination with St. Paul Art Collective (SPAC). We encourage all artists to become members of SPAC. The organization runs and supports projects, initiatives, and events that increase the awareness of artists, their work, and their cultural contributions.
