The works both expand and enrich the collection, and reflect NHCC’s commitment to provide an inclusive, respectful, and inviting learning and working environment for everyone.

In media ranging from painting, drawing and photography, to ceramics, mixed media and printmaking, the artists use line, repetition, shape, contrast, and color to make visually engaging art.

NHCC purchased the art with a focus on expanding the diversity, equity and inclusion of artists represented in the collection. The established artists are well known in their field and reside in the Twin Cities. The addition of student artists expanded the collection by purchasing art from the 2025 Student Art Show exhibited in the Joseph Gazzuolo Gallery.
