How does our concept of home shape us? In this new body of work, Wynia explores the tension between organic fluidity and the borders and lines we impose to define our world. Using acrylics on raw canvas, her paintings capture moments where colors meld and textures collide, reflecting a life lived across borders—from Mexico to Switzerland to Minnesota. Wynia’s work is deeply influenced by her experience leading a multilingual, multicultural family and navigating the complexities of immigration. For her, nature has remained the only constant "home." These pieces serve as memories of those spaces, offering a sense of peace and centeredness amidst a shifting landscape.
