Artists Luis Fitch and Xavier Tavera have created an exhibition that focuses on identity, culture, and community as Mexican-born artists who have built their practices in Minnesota. Their works will be presented in pairs between both artists, never isolated, so that each piece enters into a visual conceptual dialogue.
Together the exhibition explores themes of identity and representation, migration and belonging, Latino cultural narratives in Minnesota, and the evolution of two artists' practices over time.
