The exhibit, a collaboration of the NYC-based Touchstone Center and Minneapolis artist Lilly Crawford, includes the art and poetry of NYC public school children, the writings of poet and educator Richard Lewis, and Crawford’s plant photography, all inviting us to consider our own connection to plants. In addition, this varied exhibit highlights image-poem pairings and animations from the Touchstone Publication A Breathing of Leaves, and documentation of the Tree of Knowing project from which the children’s artwork emerged. Four, free workshops accompany the exhibit.
