Jake Zirbes currently shows with Cream of the Crop Artists Gallery since 2020 upon graduation from University of Wisconsin, Stout. I discovered his paintings there in a small, on a side street gallery showing with a few other college students. His work engages audiences at the Minnesota State Fair and in the Hudson, Wisconsin gallery with unpredictable content, intense eyes and blocked out faces. His work explores the full gamut from portraits to still lifes to landscapes. He often paints with his father, a plein air painter. It is with great excitement that Jake is a featured artist August 1 - September 21 at Cream of the Crop Artists and will also be showing at the Minnesota State Fair in our gallery in the West End Market August 21 - September 1.

I have a BFA with a concentration in painting from the University of Wisconsin, Stout. My work has been featured throughout the country.
