NE SCULPTURE I Gallery Factory presents "EVERYTHING IS OTHERED," featuring new work by Jeffrey Haddorff and Janet Lobberecht. The exhibition explores the intersections of physicality, material, and the future of human ecology. The opening reception on Friday, June 5th, will include a curated musical program by Philippe Gallandat and a high-energy fire performance by Singed Nipples starting around 7:30 PM.

Sculptor Jeffrey Haddorff's recent work moves between the botanical, anatomical, and architectural. Haddorff is deeply interested in the physicality of working with clay and the dialogue between maker and material, using the work as a record of studio action. He explores the limits of the medium, pushing clay until it tears or collapses, prioritizing raw expression and intuition over technical virtuosity. His work is intended to be felt empathetically rather than merely understood intellectually.

Janet Lobberecht’s paintings and multimedia works invite viewers to question the future definition of "human." Drawing on traditional art historical hierarchies—including portraiture, landscape, and still life—Lobberecht denies traditional order by combining these genres into singular, complex compositions. Her practice ponders the precariousness of the world and envisions possible futures for both living and nonliving species. Lobberecht holds an MFA in Transdisciplinary Design from Parsons School of Design and has been recognized with fellowships from the McKnight and Jerome Foundations.

Regular gallery hours: THUR, FRI & SAT Noon to 5pm
