Dream Machines
A participatory public art project by Drew Arrieta inviting visitors to contribute dreams for the future through a sculptural recording booth and dream hotline.
Dream Machines is a participatory public art project by Drew Arrieta. Presented as a sculptural recording booth and dream hotline, the project invites visitors to share one dream for the future and contribute it to a growing public archive.
Part listening space and part imagined civic ritual, Dream Machines explores what happens when people are invited to speak their hopes, wishes, and visions for the future aloud. Dreams can be practical, personal, collective, impossible, or something rarely spoken.
The evening will also feature a vinyl set from DJ Justis Brokenrope and a special improvised performance by Wolfe, Dolde, Keen & Power, both inspired by dreams, futurism, and collective imagination.
Dream Machines is supported by Forecast Public Art’s Early Career Research & Development program.
