Chronicled Anthropology | Eduardo Romo
Historical and contemporary events collide with a touch of humor in this exhibition by artist Eduardo Romo. A mix of painting and sculpture, Chronicled Anthropology, presents humanity as subject matter and allows the spectators to draw their own conclusions.
“My communication with you is essentially my work itself, verbalization can be a waste of time, my manifesto is no manifesto but a tribute to life.” - Eduardo Romo
ABOUT THE ARTIST
After studying architecture in Mexico, Eduardo Romo graduated from the University of Minnesota with art and anthropology degrees. Over forty-five years, he was an architectural designer and drafter in Minneapolis. For the last seven years, his artistic production has created over 200 paintings, sculptures and drawings, drawing upon his interest and knowledge in history, mythology, faith, religion, and anthropology.
This exhibition takes place in the Atrium Gallery at the Bloomington Center for the Arts.
