Casket Arts Campus Presents “Open Casket”- Fall Open Studios

Join us for our free autumn campus-wide event, “Open Casket” at the Casket Arts Building, The Carriage House, and The Factory. This free Open Studios weekend features 100+ local artists and makers, live music, food trucks, and custom cocktails in our annual Basement Speakeasy!

Open Casket will be a shopping and art exhibition experience like no other. The artists of Casket Arts can’t wait to show and sell exciting new work in: Painting, Sculpture, Jewelry, Printmaking, Textiles, Ceramics, Photography, Homewares, Installation Art, and more.

The entire Casket Arts campus will be crackling with activity, from the Lower Level to the fourth floor in the main building, throughout the three-story Carriage House out back and into NE Sculpture Gallery in the Factory building next door. Expect food trucks, live music on fourth floor lobby Friday Night and Saturday, and of course open studios filled with works from the best artists in the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District-- voted America’s Best Arts District in 2022 & 2023 in USA Today Readers’ Surveys.

45th Parallel Distillery will be serving Prohibition-Era Speakeasy Cocktails on Friday 5:00-9:00 pm and Saturday 5:00-8:00 pm, with beer and Bloody Marys served during other times, raising funds for the Northeast Minneapolis Arts District. Other sponsors include Stray Dog Restaurant and Bar and Central Avenue Liquors.

Welcome fall with an arts crawl through the three buildings of the Casket Arts Campus before you head over to Northrup King Building, Solar Arts, California Building, and the other flagship studio buildings in Northeast.
