Join Minneapolis artist and educator Jacob Yeates in celebrating their new body of work at Mirror Lab. Created with the support of a Minnesota State Arts Board 2025 Creative Individuals grant, and what do you grow?, highlights a collection of Yeates's reflections upon the violent ideologies and State-sanctioned responses to and paralleling ongoing climate change/collapse. In an era defined through disorientingly routine "unprecedented" events accompanying extractive and brutal status quos, through extensive drawing and collage processes, this work shares Yeates's own efforts to hold two truths: the world has been here before, and the world cannot exist as it does.
