What Happened to My Music Collection? | Phil Rosenbloom

Traffic Zone Center for Visual Art presents an exhibition by Phil Rosenbloom that recalls music and memories.

Artist Statement

I have a deep fondness for my music collection. Like many people, it is a glorious soundtrack that accompanies my life. This exhibition is about celebrating the music and the physicality of the media that has delivered it, while taking memories and reinserting them into new visual totems. As you view the exhibition your memories should mix with the forms and create a wonderful mashup. There is rhythm in the repetition of shape and tone in the beauty of the familiar recontextualized surfaces. Take it in and feel the music.
