Variegated Canopy utilizes discarded components of contemporary culture as armatures for elaborate woven interludes with rope, cord, and other materials. By reclaiming and adorning objects we might otherwise throw away, the installation speaks to overconsumption but also reclamation and redemption, creating a fantasy-laden environment with new possibilities from the dreck of contemporary culture. The topography of Variegated Canopy echoes the topography of the natural landscape, forging an interrelationship between interior and exterior environments. &nbsp;
