Union Depot Saint Paul Art Crawl 2023

Union Depot Saint Paul Art Crawl 2023

Local painters, photographers, jewelry designers, apothecary creators, and other artisans will display their creations at Union Depot.

Visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists and purchase their masterpieces while enjoying a festive shopping atmosphere complete with a scavenger hunt, a coloring station, contests, and giveaways.

The Saint Paul Art Crawl dates to 1977 when founding artists of the Saint Paul Art Collective held their first group exhibition at Union Depot. Today, Union Depot is among a variety of venues that support the art crawl within the Lowertown Historic Art District.

Maurina Rondeau, Marketing and Events Manager at Union Depot, is anticipating an exciting atmosphere for both artists and art-lovers. “Union Depot is proud to be a part of this event. With its great sense of community and amazing artists, it’s easy to see why it’s the longest running art crawl in the United States,” Rondeau said.

One of the 30 participating local artists is Jennifer Kunin from Jennifer Kunin Studio. Kunin works with acrylic painting on canvas, ceramics, handmade paper, and mosaics. “I paint because it heals me,” she said. “I can feel my own essence and express myself. I love the feeling of language in the colors, shapes, and textures of abstract art.”

Visitors can take a break from browsing art to enjoy food and drink specials at Station 81 Drink & Eatery and grab a coffee from Lowertown Bike Coffee Station, also located in the Union Depot Head House. To learn more about the family-friendly festivities, follow along on social media or visit the Union Depot website.
