TOMORROW PROBLEM | Joshua Anstrand

WICK presents Joshua Anstrand's TOMORROW PROBLEM.

Joshua Anstrand’s site-specific solo exhibition TOMORROW PROBLEM engages with Minneapolis’ historic neighborhood Marcy Holmes, particularly through sugar-based sculptures cast from the recesses in the cobblestone streets and textures found within the former Pillsbury Flour Mill building. The installation is situated both indoors and outdoors, ultimately phasing the sculptures in and out of their original context and in turn, initiating conversation on historicity.

May 23, 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm. It is highly advised to view on opening night. The indoors aspect is one day only, and the public art installation is ongoing yet highly ephemeral, lasting only as long as the weather and environment allow.

WICK is a nomadic gallery operating in established and transient spaces, focusing on critically curated exhibitions.
