This event is free and open to the public. New! Gallery 1: The Streets

Praxis Gallery presents photographic art that explores the genre of street photography from all angles, including people, urban structure, and documentary subject matter.

New! Gallery 2: Nude Geographies

Praxis Gallery presents photographic works that explore the nude in any of its varied styles including: figure studies, environmental nudes, and implied nudes - just to name a few of the many iterations of this genre

New! Gallery 3: Raised on the Midways of Mid-America • A solo exhibition by Debra Fisher Goldstein

Join us for a rare look into contemporary carnival life at the Minnesota State Fair!

Debra is thrilled to present her new exhibit of photography, offering a behind-the-scenes look at lives we don't usually see. Her images explore the lives of a family that travels eight months of the year, with the father working as a Midway Supervisor and the mother homeschooling the kids. As the children enter their teenage years, questions arise about their schooling, travel, and eventual career choices.

On View! Gallery 4: Lyon~ Redux • A solo exhibition by Allen Gronhovd

The exhibit features images primarily taken in Lyon, France, between 1974 and 1988, with a few from Naples, Italy. Lyon offered a rich landscape for exploration and photography. The exact dates of the photos are hard to determine due to the nature of black and white photography. [all artwork presented in the Chemistry Gallery is created using traditional photo-chemical processes]

Gallery Hours:
Saturdays Noon–5PM and by appointment, during exhibition dates.
