Known for her warm-hearted still life paintings executed in the tradition of historical hyperrealist artists, Suzanne Howe recently decided to let her fantastical imagination dictate her compositions. The starring subjects in these new paintings shifted from attractive customary still life objects to anthropomorphized natural objects.

“I am expressing the human condition through anthropomorphic evocative events, using objects as figurative stand ins to which everyone can relate. No gender or color or cultural barriers. The world needs some love and appreciation right now.” — Suzanne Howe
