The 2020 & 2021 McKnight Book Artist Fellows

Join us in celebrating our first four McKnight Book Artist Fellows and experiencing the work that stemmed from the creative freedom the fellowships afforded. Each fellow received $25,000 in unrestricted funds, 24/7 studio access at MCBA, professional consultation with a national figure in the book arts, and funding for travel, residencies, or artwork documentation. 

The exhibition features artists’ books, marbled papers, ceramic sculpture, box works, flax and linen handmade papers, collage, and hand-cut paper stories. Our 2020 fellows, Paula McCartney and Lisa Nebenzahl, and our 2021 fellows, Mary Hark, and Sonja Peterson, will be in attendance.
