An exhibition featuring the work of local Minneapolis artist, Sharon Ulrich
Artistry is pleased to announce A Perturbable Stillness an art exhibition featuring the work of local Minneapolis artist, Sharon Ulrich. The exhibition will take place in the Atrium Gallery and runs September 17 – October 30, 2020.
Artist Sharon Ulrich explores mysterious narratives in her paintings which have emotional undercurrents and maintain a sense of unrest and intrigue. Fascinated by the idea of viewer as voyeur, Ulrich’s richly colored oil paintings pay homage to the works of Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth. Her use of light, space and everyday objects create a calm surface that somehow imbues a feeling of disquietude.
“By introducing understated and disparate elements I invite my viewers to look further…in hopes to find something new to discover and internalize.” – Sharon Ulrich
