Shape, Space, Structure

Chris Cinque, Amanda Hanlon, Amy Crickenberger Oeth, and Craig Parent look at layered experiences - both everyday and abstract - in Shape, Space, Structure. Cinque examines the mystery of the transitional space between emotionally charged stacked blocks of color which for her is the visual equivalent of a musical score. Hanlon uses multiple media to explore change and degradation of physical spaces. Oeth captures shapes and lines that show the rhythm of everyday places. While Parent's paintings embrace the beauty and repetition of structures in the world around us.
