Rosalux 22nd Anniversary: Double Duece

Rosalux 22nd Anniversary: Double Duece

"Twenty-two years ago, we planned to rent a space, gather some artists, and host art shows. At the time, we thought it would be a temporary endeavor and we would move on to other things. However, after our first show, the significant turnout from the arts community surprised us and made us take our project much more seriously.  Well, mostly seriously, we have survived quite a lot (meth lab explosions, runaway cars through the back door, economic catastrophes, global pandemics, etc) and learned quite a lot in that time and feel like we should throw you a party to say thanks for being a part of our journey.

Anniversaries are oftentimes looking at the past with nostalgia but Double Duece will face forward towards our future, featuring the latest artworks from the 18 collective members. We have done a lot over the past two decades and are excited to do so much more in the years to come. We hope to see old faces and new as we celebrate this milestone and can't wait to begin writing the story of our next twenty-two years with you.

Double Duece will open on January 6th, 2024, and run through the 28th of the month.  We will be hosting our anniversary celebration on Saturday the 13th from 7-10 PM which will be free and open to the public."
