These paper pieces commemorate the lives of the loved ones being honored at Lakewood.
About the Artist:
Diana Eicher is a visual artist, printmaker, papermaker, and teaching artist. Specializing in printmaking and papermaking, her practice bridges solo studio work and collaborative environments. Diana is passionate about transforming personal narratives into tangible forms that invite connection, reflection and dialogue. Diana is the Director of the Printmaking and Paper Studio at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Diana has an MFA from the University of Hawaii, a BA from the University of California Santa Cruz, and has studied at the Accademia delle Belle Arti in Venice, Italy and at Tamarind Institute in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Diana is part of the Speedball Professional Artists Network. In 2025 she was selected as an Artist in Residence at Lakewood Cemetery and was awarded a Metropolitan Regional Arts Council Next Step Grant.
