Personal Effects: A National Showcase of Emerging Sculptors
The International Sculpture Center (ISC) is proud to present Personal Effects: A National Showcase of Emerging Sculptors, featuring several works from award-winning, up-and-coming sculptors from across the nation.
This exhibition coincides with the ISC’s 32nd International Sculpture Conference - The Evolving Field of Sculpture: Shaping the Future of Public Culture, held in the Twin Cities, Minnesota from October 22-25, 2026. The featured works thoughtfully consider what we carry with us, what we inherit, and what remains when structures of memory, identity, and belonging begin to shift. Together, the work reflects on the deeply personal ways these rising sculptors make sense of their experiences and the worlds they inhabit.
The artists of Personal Effects: A National Showcase of Emerging Sculptors represent the recipients of the 2026 Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award. Each year, the ISC offers this award to its member colleges and universities. Established in 1994, this award was created to recognize young sculptors and encourage their continued commitment to the field of sculpture.
