Juror’s Statement
The work shared for Open Loop demonstrates a depth of reflection among Minnesota artists that I deeply value. The emerging themes are quite contemporary – seeking connections to nature, self, and one another across or through digital mitigations – and are expressed with tenderness and contemplation. What you are thinking and feeling is beautifully revealed in the work, and I am honored to have a glimpse into it. Thank you for submitting.    – Alexandra Beaumont, guest juror
