Open House and Glass Blowing Demo
FOCI hosts an open house event featuring glass blowing glassblowing demonstrations by Al Honn
Free and open to the public!
Glassblowing demonstration featuring longtime member Alan Honn! While observing Al at work you’ll have the opportunity to ask questions and learn a little about glass blowing!
You may arrive and leave any time during the demonstration. Please note that Foci MCGA is a working glass studio and other artists will be using the same space. Appropriate for ages 8+; children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
A Minnesota native, Al worked as a studio glassblower in Colorado and in Washington for over a decade before returning to settle in his home state. He holds a BFA in Studio Art, from the University of Minnesota. Al currently lives in Franconia Township, and is the longtime proprietor of Al’s Center Saloon in Center City MN.
