At the Vine Arts Center we have a strong commitment to give back to the community. Community artists donate artwork to raise money to support the efforts of Soup For You Café.

The Vine Arts Center Member Show closes Saturday, Oct. 19 with a fundraiser for the Soup For You Café. We have done this fundraiser for a few years with artwork donated by community artists. This year we are expanding to a silent auction. from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Vine Arts Gallery, 2637 27th Ave S. Minneapolis.

As well as the silent auction and the sale of donated art, there will be music from The Grateful Fed, house band at the Café and complimentary portraits by Anita White. We welcome donations for the silent auction. Contact info@vineartscenter.org to make arrangements. In addition to items for the silent auction, the Soup For You Café can always use large grocery bags with handles.

About Soup For You Café:

Soup For You Café offers daily lunch between noon and 1 PM. On Wednesdays they offer groceries.  It is located in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church at 2730 E 31st Mpls, MN 55406. During the Covid 19 lockdown they continued to feed people, handing out food from the door. They have served over 120,000 meals. They are also collecting warm clothes to distribute as the temperature drops.
