McKnight Discussion Series / Apr 2019

This discussion series pairs a nationally-recognized art critic or curator with two McKnight Visual Artist Fellows and offers attendees an opportunity to learn more about the fellowship recipients as well as how their work intersects with broader contemporary art ideas and concerns.

ABOUT THE SPEAKERS

Eugenie Tsai is the John and Barbara Vogelstein Curator of Contemporary Art at the Brooklyn Museum.

David Goldes explores the intersection and overlapping territories of art and science, photography, sculpture and drawing, still life, and performance to form the dynamic ground of his process and work.

Terry Gydesen is a documentary photographer/video artist who makes engaging images, facilitating dialogues among viewers about issues of aging, health care, memory loss, and how we talk or don’t talk about death and dying.
