MCAD's master of fine arts candidates invite you to an evening of creativity and celebration at Open Studio Night 2016
Open Studio Night 2016 marks the debut of the MFA program’s new home at 2201 First Avenue South. This expanded 23,000-square-foot facility gives students room to flex their creative muscles and supports the rigor and vitality that make MCAD’s MFA program one of the best environments in the nation to pursue advanced studies in art and design.
Fifty-four Master of Fine Arts students developing their practice in the areas of animation, comic arts, drawing, design, fiber arts, filmmaking, installation, interactive media, painting, paper and book arts, printmaking, photography, sculpture, and sound, will be opening their studios and displaying their work. Guests are invited to discuss the creative process with the artists and enjoy an intimate evening of viewing finished and in-progress work.
Refreshments, performances, and raffle included!
