LynLake Street Art Festival

The LynLake Street Art Series returns for its third year BIGGER THAN EVER. Spanning the weekend of August 7, this FREE celebration of LynLake’s art scene will feature over 60 local and nationally acclaimed muralists; live performances and lighting displays; local food and drink specials; and more.
 

MURAL ARTISTS
Legacy Glassworks has put together an all-star roster of 65 local and national muralists, who will create original murals on businesses and walls spread across the area. Visitors are invited to come watch the street art painting process by visiting the artists throughout the weekend.

LIVE PERFORMANCES BEHIND THE JUNGLE THEATER

In addition to the muralists, the parking lot behind the Jungle Theater will be offering a wide variety of other entertainment options on their festival stage. These performances will span all day and showcase local organizations and Jungle artists. There will be yoga, dance, comedy, music performances, and more! Saturday evening will conclude with a special light display on the theater from Lighting Designer Karin Olson.

3pm-3:30pm — Ragamala Dance Theater
6:30pm-7:00pm — Michael Hanna (from Jungle Serial: Words + Music)
7:15pm-8:00pm — Lifting a Finger (Country/Blues/Punk Rock)
8:15pm-9:00pm — Dameun Strange and Sun Yung Shin (from Jungle Serial Words + Music)
9:15pm-10:00pm — Mayda Miller (from Jungle Serial Words + Music)

SUNDAY PERFORMANCES

11:30am-1:30pm — 612 Jungle Yoga
4:30pm-6:pm — Performance from KLAAS

Additional festivities will include glass blowing demonstrations, outreach from Sprayfinger, and food trucks. In addition to the festivities, local businesses will be offering a variety of food and drink specials, as well as free parking on Saturday in the Garfield Lot located behind the Jungle Theater. 

Hosted by Legacy Glassworks, the LynLake Business Association, and the Jungle Theater, this festival invites us to come together to celebrate the vibrant community of LynLake.
