Loring Park Art Festival 2022

The Loring Park Art Festival celebrates its 22nd year of bringing art to one of the cities’ oldest and finest parks.

This FREE two-day event takes place on Saturday, July 30 from 10-6 and Sunday, July 31 from 10-5 near Oak Grove Street and Hennepin Avenue in Loring Park across from the Walker Art Center. Festival goers will enjoy two days of art provided by 140 wonderful artists  who have been juried into the festival, assuring high quality artwork in all media. Art at the festival includes; oil painting, watercolors, handmade paper, sculpture, textiles, photography, glass, ceramics, jewelry, mixed-media, wood, print-making and more. There are a variety of price ranges therefore offering something for everyone’s taste and price.

In addition to art, visitors will enjoy family activities, food, music and unique entertainment around the walking paths and duck ponds of Loring Park—an idyllic setting for an outdoor art festival.

Wine and Canvas - Local artists inspire and instruct Wine and
Canvas customers step-by-step to create their finishedmasterpiece!
Sat 10-6 https://wineandcanvas.com 

Paper Plains invites the community to create paper from regionally-
harvested, invasive plants. It is an interactive experience in papermaking
and native prairie planting. Near the garden from 10am - 1pm

Outdoor Painters of MN will bring their yellow Berton Boxes with all the
gear for you to try out a some plein air painting.Painters from the group will
be on hand to guide you through the process on Saturday July 30.

SUNDAY, JULY 31, 2022:

Urban Sketchers Twin Cities - we sketch on location and see
our world, one drawing at a time. Urban Sketchers will have a
sketch-out on Sunday July 31. Time: TBA. Random sketchers will be
sketching in the park over the weekend as well, so keep an eye out!
