John Wells – Material Geometry, years 1 through 5

As a working artist for over 60 years, John Wells’ process has been consistently centered on serial development of ideas; from his early figurative work to his focus on abstract constructions since 2000. His current series, Material Geometry, finds the artist exploring spatial relationships of shapes, sizes, and the relative positions of forms in reductive, minimal, and elegant wall sculptures.
