An exhibition of large scale ink paintings by contemporary Chinese painter Jizi
During his almost half-century long career, Jizi (1942-2015) created a significant body of work during a dynamic period of Chinese history. Deeply interested in the spirit, the artist's work contains a strong metaphysical strain and sheds light on the complex, and at times contradictory impulses at work in contemporary Chinese art and culture.
