The collection of painted scenes and sculptural ephemera considers generational patterns of behavior in the home and the self. These works investigate the impressions we leave behind in our domestic spaces, transforming still objects into living, storytelling subjects.

Inside Voices is the 6th exhibition curated by Camden Stevens. Featuring several original works from emerging artist Taylor Wald, Inside Voices explores the isolation and the visual identity of domestic spaces. Whether that be through Wald’s dimensional painting practice or her meditational sculpture works, the selected pieces completely transform the Landmark Gallery into a world of familiar experiences, creating a stunning and cohesive representation of the isolation of the Midwest and cycles of generational trauma.

About the Artist:
Taylor Wald is a Minneapolis-based artist and curator whose work investigates the life, labor, and sacrifices involved in generational patterns of behavior. Wald will graduate with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree with a minor in Museum and Curatorial Studies, Summa Cum Laude, from the University of Minnesota in 2026. She has been featured in exhibitions including those at Rosalux Gallery, Schmidt Landmark Gallery, Vera W. Russell Gallery, Quarter Gallery, and Fresh Eye Gallery, and has done curatorial work at the Weisman Art Museum, the Quarter Gallery, and the Cube Gallery. She was a 2023 Matchmaking Artist at Art In Motion and holds a People's Choice Award from the Paramount Center for the Arts.

About the Curator:
Camden Stevens is a multidisciplinary artist and curator based out of St. Paul Minnesota. In both curation and practice, Stevens’ work explores the aesthetics of intentionality and representations of care in the digital age. He describes his work as objects that hold emotional textures; gestures that stem from memory, care and embodied experience. Stevens aims to create exhibitions that offer reflection rather than direct interpretation, urging the viewer to question the place passivity holds in their life. Centering emotional sincerity, embodiment and relational depth, he emphasizes that his work exists in direct opposition to what he calls “intentionally careless media”: the exploitative cycles of viral content that act as advocates of apathetic consumption, existing only to reinforce division for capital gain. Stevens completed his BFA in Studio Art at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. His recent exhibitions include Gloze Museum’s Opening Showcase in Houston, TX (2025) and Wishli$t at After Hours Gallery in St. Paul, MN (2025)
