How it Feels

How it Feels

Landmark Gallery presents How it Feels curated by Camden Stevens.

How it Feels is the most recent curatorial endeavor from the mind of 23 year old emerging artist Camden Stevens. The collection showcases 12 carefully selected artworks that serve as emotional vignettes that exist within an ever changing global environment. How it Feels offers its audience the space to engage intentionally with visual media. In a time where the dominant content being pushed in public spaces is AI generated, algorithmically beneficial, or intentionally careless media, it is both more important and difficult than ever for individuals to engage with care based, considerate ideas. How it Feels aims to provide a space for the individual to investigate what intimacy and closeness mean in the digital age, and how close can one truly get to another when divided by digital media. How sincere can a moment be when being fed by a machine to thousands of unaware observers? The exhibition hopes to rebuild the bridge to purposeful connection, allowing viewers to connect with the works and one another uninterrupted by virtual barriers.
