About Douglas Flanders & Associates:

Established in 1972, Doug Flanders opened the Unicorn Galleries in downtown Minneapolis. Part art store and part gift shop, he sold candles, cards and batik fabrics as well as original art. The gallery has moved locations numerous times over the years, but has finally settled down in the heart of the 50th & France business district. DF&A has one of the largest artwork collections in the region with over 15,000 objects. Since inception, DF&A has dedicated significant efforts supporting and promoting the work of local and national artists of all genres and styles. Passionate about bringing quality, curated exhibitions that appeal to a broad range of art lovers and buyers, we also offer professional art appraisal and consulting services, including art sourcing and advice on how to start a collection.
