Hidden Portraits | Scott Kutney
North Hennepin Community College Presents Hidden Portraits Art Exhibition featuring the works of Scott Kutney
In his “Hidden Portraits” exhibition, Scott uses the word portraits in a broader definition that may include inanimate images to make a more personal connection for the viewer. He combines photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, where unplanned imagery may appear.
About the Exhibit
Hidden Portraits is an ongoing project that expands the idea of portraiture beyond people to include images and objects that create personal connections for viewers. Using photography, drawing, painting, sculpture, and mixed media, Scott creates visual stories inspired by the environments around him. Guided by intuition and reflection, his work explores shared human experiences, including hardship, peace, growth, and connection. Through Hidden Portraits, Scott invites viewers to discover their own meaning within each piece.
