Hidden in our Trees

Hopkins Center for the Arts is proud to present Hidden in our Trees, an exhibition of work by Lynne Sarnoff-Christensen in the HCA Upper Lobby Gallery.

After decades as a ceramic artist, Lynne Sarnoff-Christensen began encaustic painting ten years ago, infusing her new medium approach with 45 years of experience in surface design. She builds up layers of wax to create transparency and depth with the goal to inspire through a synthesis of texture, color, and subject.

Bird nests have long inspired the artist, and feature prominently in this series. She celebrates the beauty of their linear patterns in a hybrid process that incorporates photography and painting.

Gallery Hours:
Monday- Friday: 9 a.m. - 8 p.m.
