This four-week introductory clay workshop at Dock 6 Pottery is designed for beginners and those with busy schedules. Participants will learn the basics of wheel throwing and the ceramic process from start to finish. Each week focuses on a different stage of creation: the first and second weeks introduce the pottery wheel and foundational techniques, the third week covers trimming and adding handles or decorations to leather-hard pieces, and the final week concludes with glazing creations using a variety of studio glazes.
The course fee is $275 per person and includes four two-hour class sessions. Each student can make a maximum of 15 pieces. This workshop is limited to 8 participants per class to ensure personalized instruction.
