Art and creativity can be meaningful ways to connect. For the Love of Clay is a chance to explore your creativity and make a Valentine’s Day–themed clay project while being in community with others. You'll learn basic clay techniques, design a heart-shaped tray to hold things you love, and paint your project with colorful underglazes. Projects will be glaze fired for pickup at a later date.
This activity is offered on a first come, first served basis on Saturday, February 14 from 6 - 9 pm.
It is hosted by Eileen Cohen, ceramic artist and educator, in Studio 431 at Northrup King Building, 1500 Jackson Street NE, Minneapolis, MN 55413. This activity is made possible with a Creative Individuals grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board and by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Minnesota State Arts Board, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.
Free to the public. All ages welcome.
