Field Trip 2024
Bring your family and join in the 15th annual celebration of arts and nature at Silverwood’s FIELD TRIP event! This outdoor event is free, for all ages, and you may drop-in anytime.
- Enjoy live music performances by local artists Barlow (12PM) and Faith Boblett (2:30PM) in the outdoor amphitheater. - Shop artwork from local makers with Minneapolis Craft Market. - Learn about Silverwood's ceramics programs at the clay play station, where you can get your hands dirty! - With Silverwood educators, try out screen printing and creating a piece of art to take home. - In celebration of Silverwood's 15th birthday and the Big Year of Bugs, dip your own wax candle and learn about bees and wax! - Go for a paddle on Silver Lake with Anoka County Parks and their 30-foot Voyageur canoe! Up to 18 participants can work together in this fun, stable, and easy way to enjoy a leisurely paddle around the lake. - Get your picture taken in front of our 'BIG 1-5' photobooth! - Food is available for purchase from the Eggroll Queen food truck, offering authentic, premium eggrolls! - Play on the Great Lawn! Spin some big hula hoops, play with the rainbow parachute, or challenge a friend to a game of giant Jenga, jumbo Scrabble, or bean bag toss.
