From saturated jewel tones and electric neons to deep, moodier shades, the exhibition moves across the full spectrum; inviting viewers to revel in color’s ability to stir the soul. Featured artists include Andrea Canter, Shannon Estlund, Paula Gustafson, Farida Hughes, Allison Johanson, Sarah Knutson, Kathleen Krishnan, Allegra Lockstadt, Avigail Manneberg, Dan McAvey, Chloe McEldowney, Kelli J Nelson, Rya Priede, and Katherine Steichen Rosing, alongside a robust selection of Hank Rowan masterpieces from the gallery archives.

Celebrate the opening of EYES WIDE OPEN at a reception on Saturday, October 24, from 2-5 PM. The exhibition invites you to lean into color at full volume, especially as Minneapolis heads into its darker, colder months. Expect paintings and works that play with contrast, intensity, atmosphere, and emotion, and palettes that refuse to fade quietly into winter.
