Among many influences, she draws on medieval devotional practices, which invited viewers to engage slowly and deeply with images of suffering. Her paintings conjure a faraway land called Manica Deprica, where violence transforms femme bodies into monstrous forms so that their pain must be seen, felt, and reckoned with. Meg's work lends vital visibility to sexual and domestic violence awareness and prevention; Deliver Me invites viewers to reflect on their own experiences of vulnerability and strength.
