CONVEYANCE

Serpentina Arts, in conjunction with NE SCULPTURE I Gallery Factory, are proud to present the exhibition CONVEYANCE curated by Maria Cristina (Tina) Tavera featuring the works of seven Minnesota Latinx visual artists. The artists in this exhibition demonstrate the need to engage with physical objects through process-oriented mediums such as sculpture, printmaking, weaving, mask creations, and sign making. These methods require specific materials, tools, and techniques to get to the final product. The featured artworks reveal how the artists use various technical approaches to successfully convey their culture, traditions, ethnicity, and/or daily customs.
