Northeast Sculpture (NES) presents CONTINUUM: A Dynamic Range of Works, an exhibition featuring a diverse selection of painting, sculpture, and video performance. As a non-profit organization based in Minneapolis, NES is dedicated to promoting innovative arts while championing social justice for BIPOC and marginalized groups. The works in this collection often explore political themes and reflect a commitment to artistic innovation and social advocacy.
The concept of "Continuum" is explored as a Möbius strip—continuous and infinite. Participating artists investigate conceptual movements and the subjective nature of art, reflecting diverse perspectives within the community. The exhibition highlights the flow of our world and investigates space and ideas that can be divided infinitely on a larger-than-human scale.
NES is honored to showcase original artworks by: Savior Allen-Knight, Allison Baker, Julie Buffalohead, Ian Chandler, Nathanael Flink, Wendy Frieze, Ruthann Godollei, Jeffrey Haddorf, Rahim Hamid, Syed Hosain, Mary Johnson, Duk Ju Kim, Chris Larson, Coral Penelope Lambert, Janet Lobberecht, Flahn Manly, Mary Jane Mansfield, John Michael, Celeste Nelms, Jennifer Nevitt, Dougie Padilla, Jane Power, William Ransom, Greg Rose, Peyton Scott Russell, John Salhus, Melodee Strong, Bruce Tapola, Tina Tavera, Xavior Tavera, Pocket Toscani, and Sal Xu.
